How to redirect IE folder in Vista system

  

One of the great pains of using Windows is that you need to restore or reinstall the system often (except, of course, if you can tolerate slower and slower speeds), but once you forget to back up some data before restoring/reloading, you will regret it. and. In fact, you don't have to worry about this issue if you make a slight change in Vista. For example: photos, documents, favorites, etc., you can redirect. Moreover, if you are using a dual system and want to share this data, the redirection is even more useful.

The corresponding functions of XP are uncomfortable, so we will do the following in Vista.

There are two ways:

First, use Windows Explorer

- Open Windows Explorer

- Create a folder location that needs to be replaced

Note: When creating a folder on a different drive, be sure to set the folder properties, select the "Security" label, and set the full control permissions for yourself, otherwise an error will occur.

- Select Source Collector Folder

- Right click on the folder and select Properties



- Go to “Location ” tag, replace C:UsersFavorites with new folder location

- Click the “move" button to select the file you just created








Note: If set in XP, the <quo;Location” tag does not exist, you can Copy and paste the new folder location address directly.

Second, the registry key redirection

- Open the registry editor, run -> enter regedit-> Enter, find the following path: HKEY_CURRENT_USER
