Cleverly remove huge sleep files from Vista system

I used the windows vista system. I gave the C drive 10GB. After a few months of use, the system always prompts that the C drive is running out of space. I found out that there is a hiberfil in the C drive. The sys file has a volume of 2.5GB and cannot be deleted. After the hard disk is hanged in other systems and deleted, it will automatically appear after restarting the system. Is this a virus?

This is the hibernation file of the vista system. This file will be generated when you need to use the sleep mode. If you do not want to use the hibernation function, you can disable the hibernation function by the following method: Run the command prompt and type: powercfg -h off at the command prompt to turn off hibernation and delete the hiberfil.sys file.
