What can I do if WinXP cannot reinstall IE?

  
We sometimes encounter problems with IE browser crash during use. For these problems, we may take to reinstall IE. However, when reinstalling IE browser, a prompt box will pop up that cannot continue to run. How to solve this problem?

Workaround:
Step 1: Click on the "Start" &"—“Run” command, in the Open & Runs; Enter “regedit” in the dialog box and press Enter to open the Registry Editor.
Step 2: Expand HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINESOFT-WAREXMicrosoftActiveSetupIn-sta1ledComponents{89820200-ECBD-llcf-8B85-00AA005B4383}.
Step 3: In the right window, find the DWORD key named "Islnstalled" and change its value data to " 0”."

Step 4: Close the Registry Editor and run the Internet Explorer 6.0 installer to install.
Tip: After modifying the value data of the “Islnstalled” key in the registry to “ quo;0””, the xp system will consider that the Internet Explorer browser is not installed, so it can be installed smoothly.
