Rundll32 program running for no reason is invalid

Q: When entering Windows 98, it often appears: "Rundll32 this program does not work, will close … …”, and press the "Details" button, the content displayed is "Rundll32 caused a general Protection fault in module Mmsystem.dll……”.
A: It may be in the [boot] project of the System.ini file, less than "drivers=mmsystem.dll". Modifying System.ini should solve this problem. System.ini is a plain text file, so use Notepad or any plain text editing software to open the System.ini file located under C:\\Windows. Find the [boot] project and add a line to <quo;drivers=mmsystem.dll”. After saving, restart your computer for the new settings to take effect. In fact, there is a more convenient way to modify, click on the "Start" button in the desktop, select the "Run" menu item, enter msconfig.exe in the "Run" dialog box, press the Enter key The xp system configuration utility window appears. Then switch to the "System.ini" label, double-click the [boot] folder, press the “New” button, join “drivers=mmsystem.dll”, and then restart your computer.
