Tips for Modifying Windows 98 Display Fonts

  

As you all know, Windows 98's display fonts are "all-in-one" - whether it's the start menu or the taskbar, whether it's the app's title bar or menu bar, and each Kind of dialog box, the system is displayed without exception, using the Song style display, even the default display font of IE is still Song, which is a bit too monotonous! Do we have any way to modify it? The answer is yes, use the following method to break the Song of the Windows 98 "monopoly"::

1. Right click on the blank space on the desktop, and then execute the "Properties" command from the pop-up shortcut menu. , open the “display properties” dialog.

2. Click on the "Appearance" tab (we will see in the preview box of the system that all the original display items are displayed in Times New Roman).

3. Click the “Items” drop-down menu and select the item you wish to modify from the pop-up list box (eg “Menu”).

4. Click the “font” drop-down menu, and then select your favorite font from the pop-up font list box (if I have selected the "small” font).

5. Adjust the font size and color of the corresponding item as needed.

6. Use the similar method to modify the display fonts of other related items of the system (such as "title", "message box", etc.) with the help of the preview box.

7. Click the "OK" button to close the Windows 98 "Show Properties" dialog box.

In this way, we have completed the steps to modify the system display fonts. Windows 98 display fonts will change according to our requirements, but IE's default display font is an exception.

Everyone knows that IE's default display font is Song, which means that when we use IE to open an HTML document without a defined font, the system will automatically display it with Song (if the HTML document has been set) Font, the system will display according to the definition of the document). If you want to change this default value to your favorite font, you should take the following steps:

1. Execute the IE“Options""Internet Options" menu to open the <quo;Internet Options ”Settings box.
