Windows 98 updates the system without registration

Although Windows 98 provides the aforementioned automatic update feature, it is only open to registered users, and non-registered users cannot use it (even for genuine users, you are not registered or registered) After reinstalling the entire system and not being able to exercise the power of online updates, it must be re-registered), which greatly affects the user's use. Can we really only listen to the mercy of Microsoft? NO! Use the following method to bypass the Microsoft "Settings" "Barriers":

1) Start the Windows 98 Registry Editor

2) Expand HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE, Software, and then in the Registry Editor. Microsoft, Windows, CurrentVersion branch.

3) Create a new string value called RegDone under the CurrentVersion branch.

4) Expand the Welcome branch under the CurrentVersion branch.

5) Create a new primary key called RegWiz under the Welcome branch.

6) Execute the "registration" menu"exit" command to close the Registry Editor.

This completes the "Manual" registration process for Windows 98, after which we can directly update the network to meet the needs of users.
