First, the failure recovery console uninstall

As we all know, Windows XP "recovery console" can diagnose and restore the system, but it does not uninstall the program, if you want to uninstall it, You can do this:

Go to the "cmdcons" directory under the system partition, find the installation file of the "Recovery Console" and delete it; then select "Start → Settings → Control Panel → System", then In the "System Properties" dialog box, select the "Advanced" tab, click the "Settings" button under "Startup and Recovery Failure", click the "Edit" button in the pop-up "Startup and Recovery Failure" dialog box, and pop up In the window, delete the following statement: "C:CMDCONSBOOTSECT.DAT="Microsoft Windows XP Recovery Console" /cmdcons".

Second, the uninstallation of stubborn programs

When uninstalling software, we often encounter such things: some programs are very stubborn, even if you use a variety of tricks can not be uninstalled, this is Because the program is not completely installed, the program file is destroyed, or the program installation directory has been deleted, etc., you can use the Msicuu.exe, Msizap.exe that comes with Windows XP to uninstall it completely.

First open the Windows XP installation CD, install "Support Tools", then go to the Support Tools installation directory (X:Program FilesSupport Tools) of the hard disk, find Msicuu.exe and double-click, then a "Windows" will pop up. The Installer Clean Up window displays a list of all programs currently installed. You choose the stubborn program and click the "Rmove" button to uninstall.

If the above method is invalid, it is recommended that you uninstall it with Msizap.exe by opening the registry editor, locating HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINESoftwareMicrosoftWindowsCurrentVersionUninstall, and finding the identity of the stubborn program in the left item (for example, {268723B7-A994-4286 -9F85-B974D5CAFC7B}), then select "Start → Programs → Windows Support Tools → Command Prompt" command, at the command prompt, enter the following command: msizap T {identity of the stubborn program}, press Enter to uninstall Stubborn procedure.

Third, uninstall the program name left in "Add or Remove Programs"

"Add or Remove Programs" in the Control Panel is a common method for uninstalling software. However, after some software is uninstalled, its program name will be left in "Add or Remove Programs" (for example, VoptXP V7.12), even if you click the "Change/Remove" button, you can't clear it. At this time, you can clear it. They:

Tip: After the software is uninstalled by the above method, some files remain in the original directory. You don't have to worry about it, just delete the installation directory.

Fourth, the driver uninstalled
