Win xp upgrade speeds up Windows Update has a high trick

Everyone should have experienced an upgrade system, upgrade system is inevitable, but when will the system frequency be higher? That is, after reinstalling the operating system The first thing we need to do is to upgrade the system, but Microsoft's upgrade site is usually very busy. If we can download the upgrade patch with multi-threaded download software, it will naturally speed up the system upgrade. Let's take Windows XP as an example to see how to download the patch.

Method 1

If you are a LAN user and a computer on your LAN has been updated to the latest state, you can find it under "%systemroot%\\Windows" in this computer. “Windows Update.log” File (“%systemroot%” is the drive letter installed for the system, generally "C:"), open the file with Notepad, you can see that it contains all the updated Program record, create a new text file, named "ld.; Update.lst", and then copy the download address recorded in the log to the text file according to the format of one address per line, start the FlashGet download tool, click “ file → Import list ” command, select “Update.lst” After the tasks are all downloaded, double-click and install the patches one by one in the order recorded in the log (usually from top to bottom).

Method 2

If it is a stand-alone user, first click the “Start →Windows Update” command, then click “Scan to find the update in the list on the left side of the page that opens, and then Click “Review and install updates> to see which patches need to be updated. Then click the “Install Now” button, and when the dialog box to start downloading the patch appears, select “Cancel”, and then you can find the directory under the “%systemroot%\\Windows” directory in the Explorer. “Windows Update.log” file! Then download and install the patch according to the above method.

In fact, when the system is automatically updated, those patches have been downloaded to the temporary folder of the local disk. The specific location is also recorded in the "Windows update.log" log file, if not deleted. These files can be found based on the recorded temporary folder.

I believe everyone is afraid to wait, and speed improvement is a must. These two methods don’t know which one you are looking at. No matter how you use it, you have to go to a lot of time waiting for the upgrade. It must be helpful.
