How to adjust the setting when the XP system stylus printer prints continuous paper

The stylus printer is a special type of printer, which is very different from the inkjet and laser printers we often see, although inkjet and laser printers use It's more common, but the dot matrix printer has features that other printers can't replace. Now this article teaches you how to adjust the setting skills when printing 241× 140mm continuous paper.

This problem is mostly concentrated on the paper settings. Because the default paper in the application software and driver is generally A4 (210 & times; 297MM), and continuous paper, that is, the paper has continuous guide holes on both sides of the paper, the printing paper is generally multi-layered printing paper. If the continuous paper is 241MM× 140mm paper is more than half shorter than A4 paper. So I will take a little more blank paper.

Normal setting print size

1. Define the paper size. First log in to the system as an administrator, go to the Printers folder in the Control Panel, and select the server properties under File.

2. In the server properties, select Create a new format, then enter the paper size: width 24.1CM, height 14.0CM. Enter a file name in the format description such as “Customize 241X140” and choose Save.

3. Create a new document and select the custom size 241X140 in the page setup. Then enter the width and height of the paper “ 24.1cm & times; 14.0cm " (this size must be the same as the new format created).

4. Enter the content to be printed in the document and select “File”-“Print”-“Printer Properties”.

5, select "advanced", paper specification selection "custom 241X140" (that is, create a new format file name). This will output normally.

When printing continuous paper with a dot matrix printer, the width can be divided into two specifications: 241mm and 381mm, and the other one is the most commonly used specification: 241mm× 279mm, which can also be set according to the above method.
