Solution:

1. Double-click to open any folder (the small file is open d drive), click on the toolbar “Tools”, select “Folder Options” as shown below.

2. Switch to the & ldquo; View & rdquo; tab, remove the & ldquo; Hide extensions for known file types & rdquo; in front of the tick, click OK to save and exit. After

3. complete you can clearly see the file extension shows up, which is the file format represents.

4. If you need to hide, then remove the tick in the second step click the check again, and then save out.
