How to view the switch time of WinXP system

Using a computer will record or save a lot of your own content, and if you use a computer, you can see your privacy. But how do you check that others are using this computer? The WinXP system can know the computer usage by looking at the computer's on/off record.

Recommended: GHOST XP SP3 pure version

Here it is necessary to introduce two ID numbers: 6006 and 6005. The event ID of 6006 in the event viewer indicates that the event log service has been stopped. If you do not find the event with the ID number 6006 in the event viewer of the day, it means that the computer is not shutting down properly, possibly because of system reasons. Or directly press the computer power button, did not perform the normal shutdown operation. When you start the system, the Event Viewer's event log service will be started. This is the event with ID number 6005.

With the information saved by these two ID numbers, we can easily view the computer's open and shutdown records:

Step 1, open “ control panel & rdquo;, double-click & ldquo; management tools & rdquo ; (Alternatively, click Start, select Run, enter “eventvwr.msc”)

Step 2, then open “Event Viewer”, select “System” in the left window Option.

The third step, right-click, select “properties" in the shortcut menu that pops up, select the “filter” tab in the Open “System Properties window. “Event Type> Select the “Information” option below and select the “eventlog” option in the “Event Sources” list. After continuing to set other conditions, click the “OK” button. You can see the event records you need.

The fourth step, double-click a record, if the description information is "The event service has been started", it means the time when the computer is turned on or restarted, if the description is "The event service has been stopped" ;, which represents the shutdown time of the computer.

Tips: If you think the above method is a bit complicated, you can use the following method. Enter “C:\\WINDOWS\\schedlgu.txt” in the "Start" menu in the "Start" menu, and the "Task Scheduler Service" has been started in the opened schedlgu.txt file. . . And “Task Scheduler Service" has been withdrawn. . . The time, corresponding to the boot and shutdown time, is it very convenient?

In Windows XP, open the event log service of “Event Viewer” to view the computer's on/off time. From this, you can see how many people use the computer and how long it will be used, so that you can know more about whether your child is playing games on the computer.
