1. SystemVolumeInformation folder
After the system restore is started, it saves all the operation information of the partition after setting the restore point. In the ntfs partition system, the folder also allows only the System account to be accessed by default, while the administrator account including the administrator denies access. There is no limit to the fat32 partition.
2, pagefile.sys file
System disk exists, is the windows page file is the virtual memory file, the size is generally 1.5-2.5 times the physical memory. Virtual memory files can be set in other partitions, but this partition cannot be formatted in windows state.
3, hiberfil.sys file
In the system disk, this larger file is a hibernation file, generated after the hibernation function is enabled, the computer saves the data in the memory on the hard disk during hibernation, can be restored The previous state. After canceling hibernation, the hibernation file is automatically cleared.
4, thumbs.db file
exists in the picture folder, will still be generated after deletion, increase with the number of pictures. It is not a virus, but a cached database file used to speed up thumbnail display. Can be set: in the "folder options", check the "Do not cache thumbnails", you can delete this file.
5, Recycled folder
Recycle Bin, each partition exists, temporarily store deleted files. You can set the size of the recycle bin.
6, Favorites folder
Icon is a five-pointed star, is a favorite, store your favorite URL. You can place URL shortcuts and folder shortcuts in it, and you can create new categories (folders).
7, SendTo folder
which contains the right-click "send to" content, you can paste a shortcut to the folder.
8, temp folder
Save windows temporary files, which can be deleted.
9, Recent folder
Recently opened document history.
10, TemporaryInternetFiles folder
IE browser temporary files, including browsing web pages, pictures and cookies, you can delete the files to prevent privacy.
