How to ensure the security of Windows XP users' accounts

When we use the computer, we will set a user account for our xp, but don't think that it is safe to have a password.

Security Issues in the Administrator Account

Q: My system is XP SP2. I used to log in using the built-in Administrator account. I heard that this is easy to attack the system. Is this true? Later I A new administrator account has been created. There is no Administrator account on the login interface. The files on the original desktop cannot be seen. Is there any way to log in or view the original desktop file with the built-in account?

A: Just setting a strong password for the Administrator account does not pose a big security risk. When you create an account for another administrator group in XP, the system's built-in Administrator account will disappear from the welcome screen. If you only use the account once in a while, you can press the “Ctrl+Alt+Del” key twice on the welcome screen. The system will open the login dialog box and enter the Administrator account and password to log in.

Q: One step in installing Windows XP is to create a new user, otherwise the installer will not be able to continue. However, I want to log in directly to the system with the Administrator account. What should I do? If I have to create a new account, can I still log in to the system automatically using the Administrator account?

A: XP does not recommend users to use the Administrator account. For daily operation, if you do not want to create a new account when you install the system, just press the Reset button to restart the computer in this operation step (it will not have much impact on the system). If you feel that this method is too "barbaric", you can also use the automatic installation answer file to install the system. However, it is complicated to implement and this method is not recommended. If you want to use the Administrator account to automatically log in to the system after creating another account, you can run “control userpasswords2”, in the pop-up window, select “To use this machine, the user must enter the username and password” this option, then In the pop-up "Automatic login" dialog box, enter the Administrator account and password, click “ OK & rdquo;
