Android mobile app makes WindowsXP run successfully on HTC phones

A few days ago, foreign mobile phone enthusiasts developed programs that enabled Windows XP to run successfully on HTC EVO 3D phones, which also support operating systems on Linux, Windows 95, 98 and other computers.

Previously, running the Windows 95 operating system on smartphones was not a new thing. Starting with Nokia's Symbian V3 system, there were related applications to help users run Windows on their phones. This feature was later implemented in Android and iOS models. However, the portability of this porting is not large, subject to the limitations of the interface and the old program, this kind of porting does not bring the actual function expansion to the user. However, Windows XP failed to run successfully on ordinary smartphones because of the performance of the mobile phone.

Recently, foreign teams have developed an Android application that makes the X86 system run smoothly on HTC EVO 3D phones equipped with Qualcomm's 1.2GHz CPU. Users can successfully run Windows 95, 98, XP and some Linux systems on their mobile phones. The user only needs to download the required system image, and after modifying the relevant file, run the application.

Since the touch screen smartphone does not have a keyboard and mouse, the application also pre-sets the operation method. The user can use the mouse through the touch screen, and the up and down volume keys are set to the left and right buttons of the mouse. The return button is set to the delete button, the menu button is the carriage return, and the window keyboard is popped up by clicking on the lower left corner of the screen.
