Install Windows XP system with U disk

Portable notebooks are all good, the only inconvenient place is that if the system collapses, it is more troublesome to do the system. This weekend, I studied for a morning and finally learned to use the U disk as the boot disk to re-create the system for the notebook. I think this method is much simpler than using a CD-ROM drive, so I will share it with my friends in the jar.

first introduced to the two main characters right, Kingston 8G U disk and Malata 81005 notebook. My Malata 81005 book was started a few years ago. In the New Year, I encountered a relatively serious virus invasion. After the anti-virus system, the system has not been too smooth, but the work is busy, and I have no time to do the new system. I am more relaxed today, so I am determined to get rid of the old system.

U disk boot disk creation:

1, U disk format: It is recommended to use more than 1G U disk capacity (because you want to copy and U disk software system, so there must be enough space ), first use Flashboot to format the U disk into one of USB-HDD or USB-ZIP modes. I chose the USB-ZIP mode, which is a good support for this Malata notebook.

2, U disk version of WinPE: think of it painful to install XP in DOS below, so be prepared to perform the XP installation using U disk version of WinPE boot, then the test is indeed feasible. I downloaded the old peach winpe u disk version on the Internet. In addition to WinPE, there are various common tools. After unzipping, copy the files into the formatted U disk.

Windows XP system installation:

1, set the U disk boot: Press the F2 key to boot into the BIOS setup, the Boot menu will open the third USB boot option, choose to Enabled, Save and exit the BiOS settings.

2, will be ready before all the XP installation disk copy into the U disk, and then insert U disk and boot directly into the U disk boot, the boot menu appears, select Start micro-WIN-PE (by After the old peaches, they entered the WinPE system. Copy the XP installation disk from the U disk into the partition outside the C area of the small one. I have two partitions, that is, copy it in the D area, and then directly run the SETUP.EXE file of the installation disk folder, and the familiar XP appears. Install the interface, follow the prompts to complete step by step.

I do not like to use the Internet GHOST installation disk, I feel more stable and normal installation step by step, all further GOHST backup after you install, easy to use for future recovery. If you have a friend who is used to Ghost recovery mode to install the system, copy the image file directly into the U disk and copy it to the partition outside the C area. Use the Norton GHOST32 that comes with the old peach WinPE to restore the system directly to the C area. It is.
