Specify the order of startup projects in WinXP

Winxp Tips Serialization-2

In some cases you need to specify the order of the self-starting projects, such as starting the network connection program before starting some projects. Is there a way to specify the order of the self-starting project?

Now I will introduce the specified method since the launch of the project order.

1. Create a new folder, for example: C:\\Ordered Launch, then put "Start | All programs| All shortcuts under the Startup folder are cut
to this folder, and then the shortcuts for the projects you wish to start from are also placed in this folder.

2 Enter "Cmd" in "Run", open the console mode, and then switch the current directory to "C:\\Ordered Launch". After switching the directory, enter the command "DIR /B /S > ordered.bat". Then enter the command "notepad ordered.bat" to open the batch file you just created. You can arrange the self-starting items in the desired order in the open notepad. It should be noted that each item needs to be used. Enclose the quotes and start with "start", for example: start "C: \\Ordered Launch\\First Program.lnk".

3. Double-click the batch file to test, these self-starting projects will follow the row The order is started, but if one of the items takes more time to initialize, the self-starting order can be messed up. But don't worry, in this case, you can start slower in those cases. Add a delay code below, for example: "ping -n 5 127.0.0.1 > nul", this command can provide 5 seconds delay time, you can get different delay time by changing the number after "-n"

4. After testing the batch file, open "Start | All programs| Start the "folder, then hold down the right button
drag this batch file into "Start | All programs| In the "Startup" folder, select "Create Shortcut" from the pop-up menu.

You're done, you can enjoy your own masterpiece the next time you turn it on.
