Debian boot does not enter the graphical interface method

Debian is a kind of Linux system, some people think that Debian's graphical interface is not good, then how to prohibit the launch of the Debian graphical interface and the actual character interface? The following small series will introduce you to the Debian prohibition drawing interface startup method, let's understand it.

After installing the debian graphical interface for a while, I feel too cumbersome, so I want to prohibit startup.

$ vim /etc /inittab

is the system startup items /etc/init.d S and K in accordance with instructions to change the use of the script.

Runlevel2-5 is multi-user in debian, no difference.

I can see the runlevel is 3.

Then modify the corresponding rc3.d

GUI launcher is gdm

I have modified it here, the original file is S20gdm3, I changed it to K80gdm3.

So debian can boot into the character interface.

The above is a description of Debian's prohibition of graphical interface startup. After you disable it, you don't have to worry about the system being unusable. Open the opportunity to automatically enter the character interface, I hope to help you.
