RedHat how to install log4cxx log library

log4cxx log library is a dynamic library for logging c++ logs, then how to install log4cxx log library under RedHat system? The following small series will introduce you to the steps of RedHat to install the log4cxx log library. Interested friends may wish to understand it.

First of all, I got the information, install the library needs a total of three software

apr-1.4.6.tar.gz

apr-util-1.4. 1.tar.gz

apache-log4cxx-0.10.0.tar.gz

The installation order is from top to bottom, why, because the latter depends on the former.

I have sorted out the ideas, there are several problems:

1. Which directory does the log4cxx library install?

2. How to use it after installation?

My first thought is to check the information online. Many results are displayed:

1. For the problem 1, 99% are installed in the /usr/local directory (my permission is Ordinary users, need to be rooted in the /usr/local directory, I suddenly chilled, in case I installed the wrong, how to do the server storm)

2. For problem 2, because 99% Are installed in the /usr/local directory, the result is to provide a test program, directly to g++ test.cpp other simple parameters

I thought and thought, and finally did the first step (in Before this, I asked the leader for administrator privileges. After installation, there was no problem. However, when I was writing the program test, the files about the log4cxx library could not be found. I crashed, and this is said online. Not the same.

Steps:

1. Place the three compressed packages in a directory you like, such as /home/mac/log4cxx.

2.In /Decompress three compressed packages in the home/mac/log4cxx directory to get three folders (decompress the command tar zxvf your target)
