Global operating system market share statistics chart

Compared with last month, Win7's global market share was affected by Chinese users, increasing by 1.17% to 46.4%. The market share of XP and Vista continued to decline, down 0.5 and 0.78 percentage points respectively. It can be seen that the growth of win7 is basically from the users of two predecessors, and Mac OS X remains stable. iOS's market share growth is gratifying, with an increase of 310.87%, much higher than the increase in Apple's stock price.

Other operating systems such as Linux (including Android) and Unix did not provide detailed statistics, but there was also a certain degree of growth, with a year-on-year increase of 23.24%.

If you look at the statistics of China, XP is still a standout, far higher than the market share of other operating systems. This is not unrelated to the pre-installation system and deployment of many enterprise units in China, or based on XP. The stickiness of Chinese users to XP is rare in the world. It is necessary to know that XP is an old system ten years ago. An interesting phenomenon can be found in the statistical charts of China. In the 11th and 12th of last year, the Win7 system suddenly occupied a lot of XP market share. At the end of the year, China did have a large-scale consumption behavior. Both individuals and units liked to rush to purchase, buy new year or other.
