Problems with installing small input methods under centos

If it is redhat series, it is recommended to download the rpm package installation command

rpm -ivh yong-1.0.0-1.rpm

If it is another version, download the 7z package

First extract the 7z package to the installation directory you want (the 7z decompression tool is p7zip under Linux) and then configure the environment variables according to the distribution you are using, mainly XMODIFIERS="@im=yong" GTK_IM_MODULE=xim QT_IM_MODULE=xim Set the input method to self-start, the start command is yong -d

--The above is the method the author said

My system is centos 5.6 Download is yong -1.4.0-1.i686.rpm Use yum remove scim

before using the command rpm -ivh yong-1.4.0-1.i686.rpm and check /etc/X11/xinit/xinput. The contents of the yong.conf file under the d/folder are XMODIFIERS="@im=yong" GTK_IM_MODULE=xim QT_IM_MODULE=xim

The input method does not start automatically after restarting the machine. I use the command to start in the terminal. There are several problems: 1. Only the icon in the lower right corner is displayed, and the status bar cannot be adjusted. 2. You cannot enter Chinese in the task window
