Windows and Linux dual system uninstall Linux system

There is a misunderstanding here, there are many friends when uninstalling Linux, directly delete the Linux partition in windows, this is not desirable. Often after doing this, restart, you will find that Windows can not enter, there is GRUB: _ this prompt. This is because the booting of windows and Linux is different. When the Linux system is installed after installing Windows, the boot information of the disk is generally covered by the linux grub boot. The main problem to uninstall linux is to uninstall the mbr information of grub to restore windows.

There are two options here:

1. To uninstall grub, just a windows 7 system disk, insert the windows 7 disk, choose to repair the computer, open a command prompt window, first use Bootsect.exe restores the mbr command of sys Disk:

>bootsect.exe /nt60(/nt52) C: ///nt60 is the system/nt52 representing vista and the previous ntldr (for XP, etc.) This nt52)

Use bcdboot to write windows startup parameters

>bcdboot c:\\windows /s C: /l zh_CN

Then enter windows to delete linux partition, Finished!

Two. You can download the fixmbr tool, directly operate under windows7, rebuild and repair mbr boot, restart after repair. Win7 example:

1. I want to repair the Windows boot of the C drive (win7), download the fixmbr tool, put it on the c drive, use the command prompt, enter the directory where the software is located, cd c:\\fixmbr

2. Enter MBRFix /drive 0 fixmbr /yes Note the space in the middle

3. Restart, you can directly enter the windows7 screen, there is no information about grub. 4. Enter windows to directly delete the Linux partition. (In Windows, it is the drive letter without the label name.)
