Description of the TIME/TIME+ value under the Linux TOP command

The TIME/TIME+ of the top command refers to the CPU time used by the process, not the time since the process was started. Therefore, if a process uses a small number of CPUs, even if the process already exists for a long time, TIME/TIME+ is also a small value. In addition, if your system has multiple CPUs or multi-core CPUs, then the time it takes for a process to occupy multiple CPUs is cumulative. The original English description is as follows: l: TIME — CPU TimeTotal CPU time the task has used since it started. When ‘Cumulative mode’ is On, each process is listed with the cpu time that it and its dead children has used. ‘Cumulative mode’ with ‘S& rsquo;, which is a command-line option and an interactive command. See the ‘S’ interactive command for additional information regarding this mode.m: TIME+ — CPU Time, hundredthsThe same as &lsquo ;TIME’, but reflecting more granularity through hundredths of a second.
