Linux installation is not asking people to install Ubuntu

Installing Linux is a bit scary for novices: partitions and some major things are very different from Windows, worrying about something wrong or corrupting the operating system. I have installed it several times according to the tutorial on the Internet, but I have no success, I have to give up. But now we can install Linux (Ubuntu) in a few steps without breaking the hard disk in the Windows environment.

Step 1: We download Wubi-7.04.01.exe from the above address, double click to open "Wubi-7.04.01.exe", as shown in Figure 1. Show:

Select the partition you want to install in the drop-down box shown on the screen, select the language type and the size of the capacity you want to install. Just follow the prompts. In addition to Ubuntu support, Wubi also supports its branch versions Kubuntu, Xubuntu and UbuntuStudio, select the version you want to install, and set the username and password (after installing Ubuntu login account), click "Install (I)" Just fine.

Step 2: After clicking Install, Wubi will automatically download the corresponding Ubuntu installation package. After downloading, the next step will continue. At this time Wubi joined a Windows Boot menu, which allows you to run Linux, so now you can restart your computer and choose Ubuntu to experience another scene outside of Windows.

Description: After installing Ubuntu with Wubi, it is a file installed on Windows system (c:\\wubi\\disks\\system.virtual.disk), which can run Linux like a real hard disk. The difference is that Ubuntu is installed in a file to replace its own partition, so that we can experience Linux without splitting the hard disk. Of course, uninstalling Ubuntu is also very easy, just double-click "wubi-uninstall.exe" in "c:\\wubi\\" (as shown in Figure 2).
