The unit network administrator upgrades a file server in the LAN to Windows Server 2008 system, and installs an application control software in the system. . A user on the LAN wants to use the remote desktop connection function to perform data backup operations on the target control software in the Windows Server 2008 server system in the normal client system; however, when attempting to establish a remote desktop connection with the target server system, The user is dumbfounded. No matter how the connection is made, the system always prompts the failure prompt for remote connection to Windows Server 2008. How is this good?

When the network administrator received the call for help, he immediately rushed to the fault site. After careful observation and analysis, he estimated that it is likely that the current user account does not have remote desktop connection permission. For this reason, he reopened the remote. In the desktop connection setting window, enter the administrator account and password correctly, and then click the "OK" button. Every time you think about the system screen, there is still a fault message like unable to log in.

Failure Analysis

Does the administrator account have no remote desktop connection rights? Seeing the above fault prompt, the network administrator estimated that the Windows Server 2008 server system may have some problems in the permission setting. For this reason, he immediately went to the Windows Server 2008 server system site, and then clicked the "Start" /"Run" command. In the pop-up system operation dialog box, enter the string command "secpol.msc", click the Enter key, and enter the local security settings window of the corresponding system; in the left sub-pane of the settings window, expand " Security Settings /Local Policies /User Rights Assignment branch option, in the right sub-pane of the User Rights Assignment branch option, right-click the "Access this computer from the network" option, from the pop-up Execute the "Properties" command in the shortcut menu to open the target group policy attribute setting window as shown in Figure 1. From the window, the network administrator sees that the current server system has joined the administrator account, which means that the administrator account has a remote desktop connection. Permissions. Later, the network administrator added the accounts such as Terminal Server User and Remote Interactive to the setting window of Figure 1, but such efforts have no effect.
