Toshiba officially releases third-generation PX04S ssd

  
Today, Toshiba Electronics Europe announced that its third-generation enterprise solid-state drives (eSSDs) have built-in read/write workload environments for data centers, email servers and virtual enterprise file servers. The new PX04S line functional operation model is optimized for different applications and workloads. Equipped with dual Gbit /s SAS 12.0 interface, the PX04S series achieves a random read of 4 k for 270,000 IOPS performance and a solid write of IOPS of 125,000. It seems that this is Toshiba's first 12.0 Gbit /s SAS SSD series to provide 3.84 tb of operating capability. Future new eSSDs PX04SMB mid-endurance drivers for comprehensive optimization, hypervisor business and virtualized environments such as online trading and e-commerce. It supports a memory capacity of 10 DWPD 3.2 tb. The third line in the PX04S is the PX04SVB, or the so-called “endurance” model, which reads intensive server and storage optimization applications, preferably to build reliability, balance and endurance. The entire DWPD dropped to three, 3.84 TB capacity. The final PX04S series is the best for streaming media and web servers.
