Chrome browser is fast and stable, and has won the favor of many people. However, its own functions are relatively not very rich, so in order to play its role as much as possible, users need to install a series of functional extensions. However, due to poor access to Google's app store, many extensions could not be downloaded and installed. Fortunately, many domestic browsers are developed on the basis of Google Chromium (the core of Chrome), so the extension between them is also universal. But the more troublesome thing is that these application malls don't allow other browsers to operate. How can we get through the "two-way" between these browsers? Excavating extension links from the code The more popular browsers in China are the various browsers produced by 360 companies, so we download extensions from their application stores. First, log in to the homepage of “360 Speed Browser” through the browser, and click the “Extension” command at the top of the page to enter its application store. After searching for the desired function extension by searching, etc., note that this function extends the current version number. For example, let's take the extension "360 screenshot" as an example. Its current version number is 1.0.0.1019 (Figure 1). Next, right-click on the web page and select the “Review Element” button from the right-click menu to open the “Review Element” dialog box at the bottom of the window. The extension name is often the extension of the phonetic abbreviation or English abbreviation. Finally, copy the extension link address to the browser address bar and press the Enter key to perform the extended download operation. Tip: If the average user feels that the analysis code is too cumbersome, you can also copy the address of the page where the extension is located. Then run the "360 extension downloader", this gadget, paste the newly copied extension address into the "extension address", and then click the "get” button to complete the download operation (Figure 3). Starting development mode to complete the installation In order to protect Chrome users from third-party malicious extensions, users are prohibited from installing extensions on the local system from the Chrome 33 version. So in order to install the extension you just downloaded, you can only install it by calling Google Chrome's "development mode". First, change the downloaded file extension from *.crx to a suffix of a common compressed file. At the same time, the downloaded extension program is renamed. The name is preferably the English or Pinyin of the extension program. Do not have Chinese information or other content. Now unzip the compressed file, then click the custom button in the upper right corner of Google Chrome, and select the “Extensions” option in the “Tools” menu in the pop-up menu to open the management page of the extension. Check the “developer mode” checkbox at the top right of the admin page, then click the "Load extensions under development" button at the top left. In the pop-up window list, select the folder that you just extracted, and you can load the extension at this time.
