Flash Player slimming speed tutorial

Flash Player is almost a must-have plug-in for every Windows computer, but now this plug-in adds a lot of extra features, not only to the average user, but also affects the normal operation of the system. A method worthy of reference is to slim down the Flash Player plugin (hereafter referred to as the Flash plugin) and retain its most basic functions. I don't know when, the Flash plug-in adds P2P technology, which means that when we watch online video, it not only downloads network video data, but also uploads data. Blocking its P2P function can appropriately reduce its occupation of system resources. In fact, we can't completely block the P2P function of the Flash plug-in, only to limit the uploading of data traffic. The specific method is: press the Win+R key to bring up the system running dialog box, enter the cmd command to call up the command prompt window, and then enter the execution command (Figure 1): echo RTMFPP2PDisable=1 >> %windir%\\ System32\\Macromed\\Flash\\mms.cfg This will limit the uploaded data to less than 1kb. Turning off the useless sandbox Flash plugin also uses sandbox technology, which is intended to reduce webpage attacks, but because the sandbox function is very weak, not only can not intercept the attack, but also often cause the browser to die, so it is better to remove. First run the "Firefox Flash Universal Sandbox Free Patch" tool, click the "Patch" button in the pop-up window, select the Flash plug-in file NPSWF32.dll, then the tool will automatically process, restart the browser after completion The sandbox function of the Flash plugin is blocked (Figure 2). Tips This tool also supports the operation of Flash plugins for other browsers such as IE. Upgrading the default Flash plugin A recent high-risk vulnerability in the Flash plugin requires upgrading the Flash plugin to avoid hacking. However, many browsers, including Google, have their own Flash plug-ins by default. If you want to upgrade manually, you can refer to the following method. Take Google Chrome as an example. After typing “about:plugins” in the address bar, press the Enter key. In the plugin page, click on the top right corner “Details” to find the “Location in Adobe Flash Player”. & rdquo; path information, and then open this path through the resource manager (Figure 3), delete the default Flash plug-in file, replace the latest version of the Flash plug-in. If you want to replace the Flash plugin that comes with other browsers, you can search for and replace it by searching NPSWF32.dll. Article extension: Disable the P2P of the Google Flash plugin. We use the command to minimize the P2P traffic of the Flash plugin. It is mainly for the Flash plugin in the system, and Google Chrome comes with a Flash plugin. For it, we can disable it. it. Enter “chrome://version/” in the Google browser address bar, press Enter to go to the parameter settings page and view the information in the “Profile Path” (Figure 4). Then go to “<Profile Path>\\Pepper Data\\Shockwave Flash\\System” through the Explorer and create one manually if the System folder does not exist. Then create a file named mms.cfg and write the code at the very end: RTMFPP2PDisable=1 so you can block Google Chrome from uploading data.
