Various methods for automatic deletion of mailbox spam

Every day, you will receive a lot of spam in your mailbox. Fortunately, most of the mailboxes provide automatic analysis of spam, and can automatically clean up the intercepted spam on a regular basis. For example, Gmail will be automatically deleted and stored in "spam" for more than 30 days. Mail; Hotmail mailbox will automatically clear more than 5 days of messages in the "Spam" folder. However, many times we use the mail client software to send and receive mail, and the spam will also receive the "spam box" of the client software (the current client software will automatically recognize a lot of spam), and these spam must be To delete, otherwise it will accumulate over time and the consequences will be self-evident. Would you choose to manually clean up the mail in the "spam box"? Why not let these client software automatically clean up the messages in the "spam box"?

Foxmail

Today's Foxmail 6 can help us clean up spam regularly: Click on the menu "Tools /Anti-Spam Settings" and switch to the "Bayesian Filter" tab in the window that opens. Check "Automatically delete old messages before the following days in the spam box" and set the number of days below (Figure 1). To remove spam in the future, Foxmail will do it for you.

DreamMail

Click the "Tools/Options" command in the menu, click the "Auto Delete" item under "General Options" in the window that opens, and tick "Automatically delete the following" How many days of mail are in the mail folder list, and then set the number of days, such as 10 days. Then click the "Add" button below to open the "Select Mail Folder" window, select "Spam Mail Folder", click "OK" to add it to the list (Figure 2). This way, whenever DreamMail is turned off, spam that exceeds the specified number of days is automatically deleted.

Tip: We can also select "Automatically delete messages in spam folder" at the top of Figure 2, so that each time you close DreamMail, the spam folder will be automatically cleared. However, this setting sometimes inevitably deletes the normal mail that is mistaken for spam, so this setting should be careful.
