Quickly insert a CD image file

Daemon's VirtualCDROM virtual CD-ROM is a must-have for every computer. It is convenient to load ISO, CCD, CUE and other CD image files. However, the fly in the ointment is that each time you load an image file, you have to open the dialog box for multiple steps, which is a bit of a hassle.
However, with a little modification, you can quickly load the image file from the right-click menu to the Daemon virtual drive, as shown in Figure 1.
First, the basic method
Modify the right-click menu is achieved by modifying the relevant key value in [HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT].
The left side of Figure 2 is the key name. It consists of "." (without double quotes) plus the corresponding extension. The role of the default string value on the right is to point to an "identity key". The default values for different extensions can point to the same "identity key" (Figure 3). The identification key is also in [HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT]. Its role is to define the file icon, open the file's acknowledgment program and right-click menu function.
Second, the function of quickly loading the image file from the right-click menu to the virtual CD-ROM drive.
See Figure 4 for details. Among them, the default string values of .ISO, .CCD, .MDF, and .CUE are the same, and are all "FastInsertCD" (no double quotes). On the author's machine, the command string value is "D:\\Program Files\\D-Tools\\Daemon.exe -mount 0, %1" (without double quotes), where "-mount 0" represents the first virtual drive. Once you're done, you don't need to open the dialog box. Just right click on the CD image file and select Quick Insert.
