After the iPhone is connected to iTunes, there is no problem with the device on the left side. Many friends have encountered it. Then Xiaobian will provide you with the following methods. If you encounter the above problems, you can refer to it.


disconnect the iPhone, iPad or iPod touch connected to the computer.

Take photos with your iPhone. For iPod touch or iPad, press the Home button and the “Sleep/Wake-up” button, then release to save the screenshot. The screen will flash briefly. (Grabbing screenshots and storing images on iPod touch requires software version 2.0 or higher.)

Open “Device Manager in Windows as follows:

Windows XP: Tap Start > Run. In the dialog that appears, type devmgmt.msc and press the Enter key on your keyboard.

Windows Vista or Windows 7: Tap Start. In the dialog box, type devmgmt.msc and press the Enter key on your keyboard. If Windows needs your permission to continue, tap “Continue”.

Identifies the device as an entry for the camera. This entry should be an Apple iPhone, Apple iPad, or Apple iPod (for iPod touch).

Find any other entries that represent devices. If you see the Apple Mobile Device USB Driver, an unknown device, or any name that appears as a non-camera entry but still represents your device, follow the steps in the Update Apple Mobile Device USB Driver section above.

If you can only see camera entries, follow these steps for your operating system:

For Windows XP

Right click on <;Device Manager" Apple iPhone, Apple iPad, or Apple iPod entry, then choose Update Driver from the shortcut menu.

If you are asked if you want to connect to Windows Update to search for software, select “No, don't temporarily, then tap “Next”.

Select “Install from a list or specific location (Advanced)", then tap “Next”.

Select “ Do not search. I have to choose the driver I want to install myself > and tap “Next”.

Tap the “Install from Disk" button. (If the “Install from Disk” option is not displayed, select the “Mobile Phone” or “Storage Device” category (if listed), then tap “Next” & rdquo; The Disk Setup button is displayed.) In the “Install from Disk” dialog box, tap the “Browse” button.

Use this window to navigate to the following folder:

C:\\Program Files\\Common Files\\Apple\\Mobile Device Support\\Drivers.

Double-click the usbaapl.inf file listed in this folder. Click “OK“ on the "Install from Disk" dialog box.

Tap “Next” and complete the driver installation steps. Open iTunes to confirm that the system recognizes the device correctly.

For Windows Vista or Windows 7

Right-click the Apple iPhone, Apple iPad, or Apple iPod entry in “Device Manager" and choose Update Driver from the shortcut menu.

Tap “Browse your computer to find the driver software”.

Tap “from the list of device drivers on your computer, select ”.

Tap the “Install from Disk" button. (If the “Install from Disk” option is not displayed, select the “Mobile Phone” or “Storage Device” category (if listed), then tap “Next” & rdquo; The Disk Setup button is displayed.) In the “Install from Disk” dialog box, tap the “Browse” button.

Use this window to navigate to the following folder:

C:\\Program Files\\Common Files\\Apple\\Mobile Device Support\\Drivers.

Note: If you are using a 64-bit version of Windows, this folder may be stored in C:\\Program Files (x86)\\Common Files\\Apple\\Mobile Device Support\\Drivers.

Double-click the usbaapl.inf file listed in this folder. (If you have a 64-bit version of Windows, this file is usbaapl64.inf.)

Click the “from Disk Setup” dialog box to confirm ”.

Tap “Next” and complete the driver installation steps.

Open iTunes to confirm that the system recognizes the device.
