How to extract the internal icon of the program

Many programs have icons inside, and some icons are very beautiful. Can you use the normal screenshot software to cut out the icons inside the program (.exe file)?

[Answer]: We usually use more Snaglt to have this function, it can not only extract the icon in the exe file, but also in the DLL. In the main window of SnagIt, click the menu "Capture" → "Input" → "Advanced" → "Program Files", then click the "Capture" button, select the application file to be operated in the pop-up "Open" dialog box. Soon, you can see all the icons contained in the program file in the pop-up "Capture from Program Files" window. Select the specific icon to edit and save the icon in "Snaglt Capture Preview".
