BT download how to break through the gateway limit

I use BT download speed on the unit's machine is very slow, almost unacceptable, even the upload speed is too slow. It may be because the unit's broadband uses LAN sharing, but the speed should not be so low. The download of ordinary files can generally reach 40kB/s or more. Why is BT so slow?

Intranet access users are really slow when using BT downloads.

In the intranet, the machine on the external network can only see the address of your gateway. The request can only be initiated by you. If the other party is also in the internal network, there is no way for him to pass things to you. You can't transfer files to each other. In this way, you lose some download sources, and the speed may be slower.

The solution to this problem is to increase the port mapping on the proxy server to improve the BT download speed, and the specific software recommends PortMap. After running PortMap, click the "Add" button. In the "Add/Modify Port Mapping" window that pops up, select "Any IP" to add the IP of the entire network segment used by the client. Then enter 6881 in the “Input Port” field, “Output IP” is the public IP address of the Internet proxy server, and enter 6881 in the output port (the input port and the output port are the same). Finally, use the same method to add the 688 download port 6882 ~ 6889 in turn and start.

With this setup, your BT download speed should be significantly improved.
