How to use IE to quickly access FTP site

Q: I want to access the FTP site established by my friend from my computer, download some movies he shared, he authorized me a username and password, but in my computer The FTP tool software is not installed. Excuse me, how can I use my IE to access my friend's FTP site?

A: Generally, we can log in to the password-protected FTP site by entering the URL of the station in the IE address bar, entering the username and password in the prompt dialog box that appears, and then officially entering the site. However, if you do this every time, it will be a bit cumbersome. There is actually a simpler way to quickly log in to the FTP site using your browser's favorites. This is done by first adding the specified URL to your favorites, then editing the item and adding the username and password to the original URL. For example, the original bookmark URL is ftp://www.cfan.com.cn, the user name is USER, and the password is PASS. Then change the bookmark http://www.cfan.com.cn to http://USER: [email protected], the user name and password are separated by a colon, and the password and the URL are separated by @. This way, the next time you click on the item in the Favorites, you can log in directly to your friend's FTP site.
