WinRAR file encryption tutorial

Here we take a look at how to encrypt files with WinRAR to better protect privacy!

This is very simple, just set the password when compressing.

Right-click on the file or folder you want to compress and select "Add to Compressed File" from the shortcut menu that pops up. In the "Edit File Name and Parameters" window, click the "Advanced" tab. Click the “Set Password” button.

in the subsequent pop & ldquo; compressed with a password & rdquo; Window set a password determined. Then make sure to start compression.

We can also put some important files disguised as other types of files to achieve the purpose of encryption. For example, I want to encrypt a list text document and disguise it as a jpg image file.

First of all, the list text file is first encrypted with a password, so that the purpose is to pass the password even if you know the disguise.

Then, select both the list archive and the jpg image file, right-click and select “Add to Compressed File” from the shortcut menu that pops up, in the “Compress File Name and Parameters” window. In the General & rdquo; tab, change the compressed file name from xxx .rar to xxx .jpg and then complete the compression.

The compressed file is still a jpg file. Double-click to open the image file, and the list compression package is invisible.

To find the list archive is also very simple, open the jpg file with WinRAR saw.
