Win10 disk repair tool Chkdsk added command Daquan

The Windows common disk detection and repair tool Chkdsk has added several commands in Win8.1/Win10, which can be manually run by the user at the command prompt. In general, if the system detects that the hard disk partition has been closed due to an accident, or detects other abnormalities, Chkdsk will automatically run when the system starts.

Starting with Win8, Microsoft improved the NTFS health mode and file system corruption repair method to minimize the running time of Chkdsk, which is an advantage that Win7 and previous systems do not have. If this tool is to be run manually, you need to run the command prompt as an administrator. The command format is as follows:
chkdsk path/parameters
Note that the above parameters can be connected multiple times, and there should be spaces between different parameters. Run the command directly in the desired path, in the following format:
chkdsk /parameter
Specifically, add the following parameters:
/scan - Run online scan in the specified partition
/spotfix - Repair the site on the specified volume to fix
/forceofflinefix - bypass all online repairs; all issues must be added to the offline repair queue (eg Chkdsk /spotfix), need to use with “/scan”
/perf - use more Multiple system resources to complete the scan as soon as possible, which may reduce the efficiency of other tasks running on the current system
/sdcleanup - collect and clean up unnecessary security descriptor data, and need to use
/offlinescanandfix with “/f” Running offline scan on the specified volume, if the problem is found will fix the error
In Windows 10, Chkdsk has added command parameters for the FAT/FAT32 and exFAT partition formats, as follows:
/fr Eeorphanedchains - Frees any orphaned cluster chains instead of restoring their contents
/markclean - If no problems are found, the volume will be marked normally, even if “/f” is not set
In addition, some have a long history The parameters of the ” are also to be understood, such as the mentioned in the above parameter description "/f", etc., the specific content is as follows:
/f - Repair the error on the disk. It should be noted that this parameter must be locked to the disk, otherwise the tool will display a message asking if you want to check the drive the next time you restart the computer
/v - when checking the disk, display each file in all directories The name
/r - finds bad sectors and restores readable information, and must also lock the disk
/x - only on NTFS. If necessary, first force the volume to be unmounted, and all open handles for that drive are invalid. /x also includes the /f function
/i - used only on NTFS. Perform less intensive checks on index entries and reduce the amount of time spent running chkdsk
/c - only on NTFS. Skip cycle checking in the folder structure, reducing the amount of time required to run chkdsk
/l[:file size] - only on NTFS. Change the size of the log file to the size entered by the user. If this parameter is omitted, /l will display the size of the current log file
/? - Display help at the command prompt
It should be noted that the Chkdsk command Only logical errors in the file system can be found, not physical disk errors. To find physical disk errors (such as bad sectors), you need to run ScanDisk.
