Win10 flat edge swipe gestures and open/close method

Win10 is specially optimized for flat/touch screen devices, which is reflected in display and operation. For operational aspects, the Windows 10 tablet has a special edge swipe gesture in addition to traditional methods of operation. These operations are different from the previous Win8/Win8.1. The Win10 edge sliding operation has the following four forms:

• Finger slides in from the right side of the screen, opens the operation center
• Finger from the screen Slide in to the left to open the task view
• Fingers slide in from the top of the screen to display the app title bar (to open the tablet mode)
• Fingers slide in from the bottom of the screen to display the taskbar (in tablet mode application) It is effective when running in full screen or automatically hiding the taskbar.)
Because of personal habits, some users may not need it, or even want to close these modes of operation. The method given by the IT Home Academy advanced class is very simple, the specific operation is as follows: Br> 1, enter regedit in the Cortana search bar and press Enter to enter the registry editor
2, navigate to
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINESOFTWAREPoliciesMicrosoftWindowsEdgeUI

Note: Users without EdgeUI items need to manually create new, in Right click on Windows, select New → item (above), then rename it to EdgeUI

3, create a new DWORD (32-bit) value in EdgeUI (as shown above), rename it to AllowEdgeSwipe, The default value for the data retention & ldquo; 0 & rdquo; you can, as shown

restart the computer, the changes to take effect. To restore the above edge swipe gesture, change the AllowEdgeSwipe value data to “1” and restart the computer.
