How to use GPT format for large hard disk partition under Win10 system

Note: All data needs to be erased in this process, so non-new hard disk users should be treated with caution.
Before the start, users need to prepare the Windows system CD or U disk, you can use the soft media Rubik's CD burning, U disk boot tool combined with the system ISO image production
GPT partition method is as follows:
1, use produce a good U disk, or CD-ROM system, the BIOS in the UEFI boot is adjusted (adapted for use Legacy BIOS user), as shown in Figure 1:

Tip: after boot Press ESC or the default button of the current computer to enter the boot mode selection interface, or enter the BIOS to set it separately (the hotkeys are generally Del, F2, etc.). The specific conditions need to be determined according to the computer preset, but the operation mode is similar. UEFI boot requires motherboard chipset support. If you do not find the corresponding content in the BIOS settings, then it is likely that your motherboard does not have this feature.

3. After entering the diskpart command, press the Enter key to enter the DISKPART tool, as shown in Figure 4.
4, enter the list disk command and press the Enter key to view the currently available hard disk of the computer, numbered 0, 1, 2 … … if you only have one hard disk, then only disk 0; there are two hard disks, then The number 1 disk will be displayed, and so on, as shown in Figure 4.
5, enter select disk x (x is the above hard disk number), select the hard disk you want to partition operation, if there is only one hard disk, enter select disk 0 and press the Enter key, as shown in Figure 4. FIG

6, a command to execute the clean all the partitions on the hard disk (hard disk without this new step), hard disk data will be cleared of all, as shown in FIG.
7, execute the convert gpt command to convert the hard disk into a GPT partition table, as shown in Figure 5. FIG

8, create EFI partition, perform create partition efi size = 200 (the partition size is 200MB), as shown in FIG.
9, create an MSR partition, execute create partition msr size = 200 (Microsoft system reserved partition), as shown in Figure 6.
10, create a primary partition, execute create partition primary size = xxx (the specific size depends on your requirements, as a system partition, if there is enough space, you can leave more than 100GB or 102400MB space, the command is create Partition primary size=102400, which is convenient for the system to have enough revolving space, as shown in Figure 6.

11, if there is still space, you can continue to repeat the above command to create a new partition (note the specific value). However, it is recommended that the user exit the command prompt after installing the system partition to continue to install the system. After all, this method is not easy to estimate the remaining hard disk space. After entering the installation program, the remaining space can be further divided (as shown in Figure 7). After the end, enter the system disk management for allocation.
