If we need to turn the directory frame on the left side of the resource manager into a text file, you can use the TREE command in the command prompt window. TREE's original meaning is "tree", which is also very visual and easy to remember. Now we want to generate a list of directory tree texts for the C partition. First click on the C: drive letter in the list on the left side of the file explorer, then click on the “File” menu to open the command prompt → open as administrator Command prompt & rdquo;.
The current location of the command prompt window that opens is exactly the root of the C: partition. At this time, the TREE command is issued here, and the directory tree displayed by scrolling can be seen in the window.
This directory tree is just in the display state. We can add a half-width greater than the TREE command, and then enter a file name to form a command like "TREE"; CLIST.TXT” This will get a CLIST.TXT file in the root directory of the C: drive, which is the file directory tree of the C: partition with a tree structure.
Small tips: The reason why do not choose "Open the command prompt" is because of the level of write permissions. If you select “Open Command Prompt", the system will give an error message "Deny access" when writing the command. In this case, only the output command can be redirected to a partition other than the system partition.
If you want to let the file in the "tree" column, that is, together with the file also displayed on the "tree", you can use the above command. Change to “TREE>CLIST.TXT /F”, just add a /F parameter to solve the problem.
The method of generating the file list on the right is similar to the method of generating the directory. Just release the “DIR /S/ON/B > CFILES.TXT” command. In this way, you can get a pure file list text that is completely sorted by file name and contains files under each subfolder, as shown in the figure.
2. Other file weapon Get the list output
Use a third-party resource manager alternative to directly generate a file resource list file. For example, using the xplorer2 file browser, after selecting all the folders to generate the list, click the “edit →copy name” command or “copy column” command, as shown.
Then paste in the text file, you can get a list of folders with or without a path, as shown.
3. Self-programming right-click command one-click output list
We can also edit the registry modifier "Filelister registry modifier.reg", including three lines of commands, as shown in the figure:

4. With dedicated small soft output web format
If we want to get a list of file structure in web format, you can use dirhtml software. This software can export the folder structure to a web page format. After specifying the original directory, setting the file type and outputting the HTML file, click “Create” to create a list of web page format files, as shown in the figure.
By customizing file types, you can also generate a list of viewing text files, images, or any other type of file. The software does not scan shortcuts and empty folders.
