Win10 program to quickly create two ways of desktop shortcuts

Our habit of using a computer is generally a shortcut to click on the software on the desktop. We can create a shortcut program on the desktop by using our commonly used software. When we need to use it, we can click it directly. The shortcut is very convenient for us. A setting. However, we often have such a mistake, that is, we will inadvertently delete the shortcut on the desktop. Once we delete it, we don't know how to add it. Finally, we can only open the software we need in the start menu. The following small series will teach you how to retrieve the lost shortcut icons.
Methods 1. Create a link by dragging and dropping it on the desktop
Open the Win10 Start menu, click on “All Apps”, find the Microsoft Office Word 2003 that you want to drag in the Microsoft Office program group, and then press the left side of the mouse. On the desktop, the prompt “Create link on the desktop” will be displayed. Figure:

In the same way, you can drag and drop any application in the Win10 Start menu to the desktop to create links, including the Metro app in the Windows Store.
Method 2, the traditional "send to the desktop shortcut"
Right click on Microsoft Office Word 2003 in the Win10 start menu, select "Open file location". As shown in the figure:

The difference between the two methods:
We now compare these two ways to create application shortcuts on the Win10 desktop, you will find that there is still a difference:
difference one :
The most intuitive is the difference between the application icons. Figure:

“Create a link on the desktop> The generated shortcut icon is smaller, and the name has the "shortcut" type; and <;send to the desktop shortcut” The shortcut icon is larger and the name does not contain the "shortcut"
Difference 2:
“Create a link on the desktop” Generated application shortcut icon, right click on the icon, the pop-up menu will have the option of “Uninstall” and click to uninstall the application. . As shown in the figure:

and "send to the desktop shortcut", the right-click menu of the generated application shortcut does not have the "Uninstall" option.
The above two methods can retrieve the shortcut icons lost in the win10 system, but the effect of these two methods is not the same. As for which method you choose, you will see your decision, as long as the final purpose is the same. Ok! Hurry up and operate!
