1. Open the Registry Editor

3. Can't find the Personalize subkey?

Repeat the above steps, but this time the path is HKEY_CURRENT_USER SOFTWARE Microsoft WindowsCurrentVersion ThemesPersonalize. Once again, create a double-byte (32-bit) key for the new AppsUseLightTheme, assigning a value of 0.
