How to retrieve Win8.1 network list in Win10 preview version

Microsoft has updated the network selection window in the start menu mode in the Win10 preview version 9860. The original function of sliding out the list from the charm sidebar by the side stroke gesture is removed, and the window is opened by the PC setting. Many people think that this change is a retrogression. Compared with the previous method, there are many problems. Technically, this design seems to be a semi-finished product of Microsoft's new ideas. Therefore, Win10 House today will introduce you how to retrieve the list of networks used in Win8.1 in the Start Menu mode of Win10 Preview 9879. If you are currently using the start screen mode, you do not have to modify it.
This operation is done in the registry, so before proceeding, please use the cleanup master in the soft media cube (click to download) to do the corresponding registry backup work, just in case.
The specific modification steps are as follows:

Enter regedit in the search menu of the start menu or enter regedit and press Enter to open the registry editor and navigate to
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINESoftwareMicrosoftWindowsCurrentVersionControl PanelSettingsNetwork
< Br> ▲ Right click on the Network folder icon, select “ Permissions & quoquo;,

▲ In the pop-up "Permissions" window, click on the "Advanced" button below

▲ In the “Advanced” window, click on the above “Change (C)”

▲In the window “Enter the object name to be selected”, enter the user name of the current system login. Then click “OK” and exit.
It should be noted that you can confirm the exact name in the user account of the control panel. After inputting, click the “Check” button next to the button to confirm whether the entered user name exists: if it exists, it will be automatically typeset as the exact name (including Underlined), does not exist or the input is incorrectly given a prompt. If it is your own computer, if you are afraid of trouble, you can directly enter "Everyone" to give all users of this system permission (convenient and security will be reduced, but don't care too much about the preview system).

▲Click “OK"Close “Network Advanced Security Settings“ window, select the “Administrators” tab in the "Security" tab, confirm “full control & rdquo; is checked, then click & ldquo; OK & rdquo; apply changes.

▲ Then click on the Network folder in the Registry Editor and double-click "ReplaceVan"; in the pop-up window, change the "Value data" from the default 1 to 0, click “OK" ;drop out.

▲The picture above is the effect after the modification
Close the registry editor, you're done. Now the Win8.1 network list should be able to slide out from the right.
