Win10 Technology Preview Installation Tutorial
First, the simplest alternative installation method (immediately upgrade the current system to Win10 technology preview)
1, after downloading the image, open the ISO image (Note: Win8/Double click in 8.1, Win7 can be loaded with virtual CD-ROM drive, directly run setup.exe in the mirror root directory, as shown below.
2, Accept the license terms
3, check the installation environment. This may take a while, depending on the amount of software in the system you are currently using
4. After the check is complete, the installer will list things you need to be aware of, such as missing system features or existing software. Compatibility and so on. If there are no things to note, the results shown below will appear.
5, here you can also change the content that needs to be retained after the upgrade. Click “change the content to be retained", the following image appears
6, select the item to be retained.
Note that no matter which option you choose, the current system will be replaced by the Win10 Technology Preview after the upgrade. The “personal files” refers to the contents of the “Users” folder; the specific applications can be retained depending on the compatibility of these applications in the Win10 preview; if you select “do not retain any content”, After the upgrade, “Personal Files” will still be saved and moved to a folder named Windows.old.
Click Next to start the installation. If you choose to keep all content upgrades, this can be a very time consuming process.

Second, Win10
First we have to prepare a partition for the Win10 preview. Any partition with enough free space is eligible, but it is recommended to prepare a clean partition separately. If you want to delete it after the experience, a separate partition can avoid some trouble.
Zoning:
open Disk Management, find a larger partition the remaining space, right-click to select & ldquo; compressed volume & rdquo ;:
enter the appropriate size (here only as a demonstration Allocate 30GB space, no less than 40GB is recommended, click “Compression”. An unallocated space will appear after the partition you selected.
Right-click on the unallocated space, select “New Simple Volume", and then click on the window to click “Next” Note that if you are prompted to convert the hard disk to a dynamic disk, it is because your hard disk is an MBR partition structure. The number of primary partitions has exceeded the maximum limit of the partition type ——4, please abandon the partition operation.
Installation:
After downloading the image, open the ISO image (Note: Double-click on Win8/8.1, you can use the virtual CD-ROM drive in Win7), run setup.exe under the sources folder, as shown below.
Click “Next” to start the installation.
If it is successful, it will automatically form multiple systems after the installation is completed. A multi-system selection menu will be available at boot time.
