Win10 latest version 9879 is about to be released to "Slow Ring"

After a week of release of Windows 10 Technology Preview with version number 9879, "Slow Ring" users have not yet been updated, but according to Gabriel Aul's latest tweets, Microsoft is ready. Pushing the new version (9879) to the "Slow Ring" user, but only waiting for the detection error fix released at the same time has caused delay and will be launched soon.

In addition, in another tweet, he expressed his gratitude to the "Fast Ring" user for submitting a lot of feedback to help Microsoft make the system even better, if you want to know the new changes brought about by the 9879 version. You can visit Microsoft's official website.
Microsoft's official website is as follows:
Hello everyone, very excited to share a good news with you, we launched a new 9879 version in the Windows membership plan Fast Ring. The new version has brought a lot of changes, including the addition of richer features and some changes related to performance optimization. Many of them come from feedback reports and suggestions from users on the windows system. Thanks again to all of you who participated in the Windows Membership Program!
Start here:
If you are a new member of the Windows Program, you may want to review some of the terms and concepts mentioned in the article in the first version of the Windows Membership Program. (For example, we have a model of Ring”) As in the previous version, the new version will be automatically loaded via Windows Update. As long as your device is powered on or in a sleep state, you can complete the installation under the current system. If you don't want to wait for the automatic download to install — you can get it in Settings -> Update & Restore -> Preview Build, click the Check Now button. If you are at Fast Ring, you can get a new version right away. If you are in Slow Ring, you will not receive the new version &mdash right away; we will post the test feedback to Fast Ring after the Fast Ring collects feedback. This is a full version of the local upgrade, so you will browse these again. Your app & rdquo; screen typeface. This is because your account is re-allocated after the upgrade.
Some known issues:
There will still be some minor issues in the new version. Soon we will release two issues before the WU update fix, but the rest will not be fixed in 9879.
In some cases you may encounter a black screen when you log in or unlock. The current practice is to press and hold the power button to reboot hard. You will not be able to connect to the distributed file system network location. Some systems may see disk usage grow to 20 GB+, possibly due to duplicate driver installations. On systems with insufficient disk space, this can prevent the installer from running and cause a rollback to the previous version. If the application is minimized, the Skype call will be disconnected and the music will stop playing. Several known issues encountered with Lync screen sharing.
There are some amazing changes here:
Before introducing new features, I want to tell you some suggestions based on user feedback.
The design of the taskbar has become one of the most popular discussions for users. In 9879, you can now hide the Search and Task View buttons on the taskbar. Just right click on the taskbar and tick the button to display it.

We have heard that the minimization and reduction animation of the application in the previous version is somewhat unsatisfactory, so we have optimized it. If you have other suggestions and feedback, please let us know what you think. Some users report that it is difficult to find super and full screen buttons in the app. We replaced the 3 points in the application window chrome with a "hamburger" icon (three lines), which is believed to be easier to spot. Less obvious but still super important is that users mention crashes and hangs that are encountered during use. We have fixed most of them, and you have made an indelible contribution to the stability of windows10. (This way is a bit like "voting”— you put your personal preferences into the design of the product, the product is more like creating it for you than others!)
We still care about any impact You use the feedback from the process and make changes to it, so from now on, we really want to show you how the user, as a user, influences our products through your feedback.
Here, new features!
Window and gesture optimization:
A few weeks ago at TechEd, Joe showed off the new features of Windows 10 and is now in the latest version. You can now use Snap Assist to crawl mobile apps across multiple desktops. We also introduce some gestures on the touch screen, which can be operated simultaneously with three fingers.
3 finger lifts-> Task view 3 Drop with your finger-> Show desktop 3 fingers swipe left and right -> Switch before application 3 Finger move to left or right-> Alt-tab (Task view ) will pop up, you can choose the app you need 3 finger taps -> Search
New way to use OneDrive:
We also introduced how Onedrive synchronizes files in the new version. On Windows 8.1, we take characters on your personal device to connect the files you saved in OneDrive. Users need to understand the difference between “online available” and “offline available” in physical storage. We have heard a lot of feedback about this behavior. For example, one would expect them to see any files in the File Explorer available offline. Then they will take the plane (or go to a networkless environment) and try to access a file. They think that the file stored on the device is actually just a placeholder and cannot be accessed. Users often feel that this synchronization is not reliable. It's important to be able to provide fast and reliable synchronization on Windows 10. Starting with this release, OneDrive will use selective sync. This means you can choose what you need to sync to your personal device. What you see is on a real device, and you don't need to worry about having downloaded it. You can choose to sync all your files to your personal device, or just sync what you want.

Also in Windows 8.1, there are several ways you can view files such as via the app OneDrive or File Explorer. We have heard many users complain about where to go to view the files. In Windows 10, we only provide an easy way to view the file — through the File Explorer. If you want to manage OneDrive, right-click on the icon in the notification area and click ”Set" to manage OneDrive. You can adjust some features like autosave, choose which folders to sync offline, and more.
If you have any feedback on the new OneDrive, please use the Windows Feedback app to let us know what you like about the OneDrive design, or what you don't like.
IE browser optimization:

The IE browser team is working hard to improve the browser that is more convenient to operate. We attribute 10% of interoperability to the Windows membership program. You can collect the website that crashes by using IE access, just click the smiley feedback button in the upper right corner of IE and select ”Send Frown”. For more information, check out the blog from the IE team: About IE interoperability rendering.
MKV support for this machine:
Most users have noticed that MKV file format localization brought by 9860 stand by. We are experiencing & rdquo; more complete & rdquo;. You can now play MKV files directly from Windows Media (also supported by other desktop mobile apps), MKV files will display thumbnails and metadata, support for DLNA and playback scenarios, and more. Xbox also began to support the MKV format. We have also added a platform to support H.265 HEVC, so stay tuned for more news.
Continuous UI improvements:
We have also made a few UI improvements. In the File Explorer, we have made some tweaks, and you can now lock to the folders that are commonly used in Home.

The window can automatically match the size.

Windows members will also mention that several new icons will also be optimized. We are still working hard, Windows10 UX will bring you more surprises!
Improve Windows membership plan:
We have also made some improvements to the Windows membership plan, which will record the current status of the program, which is convenient for you. Send us more feedback (and not just feedback on twitter)
Embedded in this release is a new Insider Hub app. Insider Hub is the one-stop access to the latest news and announcements from the Windows Membership Program. If we post this information by posting a blog or forum post, there will be a delay in time, but through Windows Insider Hub we will release all the news as soon as possible. You can take the initiative to browse the news, it will also remind you of interesting sharing. Colleagues we will also post the task to you, try out the new features, and then send us feedback (via the Windows feedback app). The initial use of the Insider Hub may not be fixed on the Start Menu/Startup screen, so you will need to find it (and lock it on the menu). Please make sure to open it at least once so that you will receive our important news and announcements.
We are also working hard to make the app better, so don't forget to tell us your questions, suggestions, ideas &hellip through the Windows Feedback app; we'd love to hear from you!
With the windows feedback app, we are based on Your feedback has made a series of improvements. This app is very important to us, so we hope to continue to hear and process your feedback from here:
You can now sort all feedback based on hot topics, number of votes and recent time. When you have finished adding feedback, the Windows Feedback app will take you back to your directory. In the past, when you looked for existing feedback, it would give you an error instead of the search result — we have corrected the problem, and now you can easily find the submitted feedback and vote for them. The screenshot button is easier to find!
Finally, we hear the loudest feedback — the new version of the ISO image. Indeed, we strive to listen to users and try to meet the &mdash you need; but this is just to do our best. Getting updates and installation data from the preview mechanism is critical to us. It helps us ensure a smooth ESD distribution, download and upgrade success, and also helps us ensure the next version update process. So we have to release the ISO image at the same time, which means that if you want to be the first or get the latest version at the fastest, you need to use our preview mechanism (either automatically or immediately check the new version in Settings -> Downloading) If you need an ISO image, you need a little more patience.
We continue to be humbly treating all feedback from the Windows Membership Program. Don't let him stop!
This will be the last version of the Windows Membership Program this year, and we will continue to make improvements to our products or engineering systems during the holidays. Continue to send us feedback, we will work hard to build Windows 10 and become a product you will love. We will share more new developments with you in 2015, and keep in touch with us in the Insider Hub.
