How does Win10 let the File Explorer's title bar display the process ID?

The resource manager in Win10 does not display the process ID by default, but we can open it manually, so how do we set it up? In fact, we only need to modify the registry, the following small series for everyone to introduce the specific Win10 so that the file resource manager title bar shows the specific operation method of the process ID.

The specific method is as follows:

1. Enter regedit in the Cortana taskbar and press Enter to enter the registry editor;

2. Position to:

HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\\SOFTWARE\\Microsoft\\Windows\\CurrentVersion\\Explorer

3, create a new DWORD (32-bit) value, named ShowPidInTitle;

4, double-click to enter, set the value data to 1;

5, then look at the title bar of the file explorer, you can see the PID ID.

It should be noted that the PIDs of multiple windows opened in the same way may be the same. For example, the windows that are opened by clicking the fixed resource manager icon on the taskbar, the title bar PID is no different, and then used. When the soft media software manager checks the location of the software installation package (as shown above), the PID will be different from the taskbar icon. Therefore, the PID can distinguish the source of the window open.

The above is Win10 to let the file explorer title bar display the process ID operation method, its operation method is very simple, just modify the registry.
