How to enable "Classic Event Viewer" in Win10?

  
One of the management components of Win10 is the "Event Viewer" that is available on XP/Vista/Win7/Win8.1 systems. This program can provide users with a record of system events. However, the classic version of the XP era is faster because of the simpler interface. So now many professional users like to continue using the previous version.

this version in the form of ActiveX objects exist in the C: windowssystem32els.dll file, after registering a DLL file, you will be able to "Microsoft Management Console (MMC)" used in the classic version of events Viewer. The specific steps are as follows:
1. Right click on the start button and select "Command Prompt (Administrator)".
2, execute regsvr32 els.dll, then see the successful registration prompt, as shown below -

3, enter mmc at the command prompt, and then press Enter to execute, open the console.
4, click File → Add /Remove Snap-in, as shown below -

5, the left side of the pop-up window, select "Classic Event Viewer" and then click the middle of the "Add" button in the pop-up dialog box, click "Finish", then click "OK" to close the "Add or Remove snap", as shown below -


6, then you can customize the options in the file → Viewer name and icon, console mode can be set to "User mode - full access", and check "Do not save changes to this console", click "OK". This setting ensures that the console provides full access and provides a more secure operation.

7, and finally click on File → Save, to name just created the console. Make a friendly name for future opening in "Run", such as jdsjckq.msc. Note that the suffix name must be msc, do not modify it.
