What if Win10 can't access XP system printer sharing?

The Win10 system and WinXP system have a large span, and printer sharing can still access each other. However, some users use Win10 to access the WinXP system shared printer to connect, what should I do at this time?

Method One:

1, the local administrator in the user open

2, with the administrator login, WinXP shared access, or if there is an error message

3, open the service, find the TCP /IP NetBIOS Helper, stop the service and then start.

4, can access WinXP share normally, cut back to their own account is also OK.

Method 2:

1. Install the network printer by installing a local printer.

2, first decompress the driver, that is, "a printer driver. exe"; use winrar to extract a bunch of files, originally a bunch of directly placed on it.

3, then, control panel → add printer & rarr; I need the printer is not in the list

→ manual settings to add a local printer or network printer & rarr; create a new port, select “ Local Port”

→Enter the port name“\\\\192.168.15.100\\*****” (ie the ip address of the computer connected to the printer and the name of the print share),

→ disk installation, find the decompressed directory, select autorun.inf file, that is OK.

The test is valid after the port name is changed to search the network print path.

The above is the solution that Win10 can't access the shared printer of XP system. After the above settings fix the problem, you can use Win10 to access the printer shared on WinXP.
