Win10 file history setting method for excluding folders

  

We have previously introduced "How to open file history function under Win10 system", but some users indicated that they want to exclude several folders in the file directory of file history backup. How to operate this?

Operation steps

Step 1 Open the control panel and find and click “File History” in the control panel. You need to be reminded that I use the large icon view mode.

Step 2: After entering the file history interface, click on the left side &&quoquo;exclude folder”.

The third step, in the exclude folder interface, click the bottom “ add & rdquo;.

In the fourth step, in the Select Folder interface, find the folder that you want to exclude than click and click on the bottom “ select folder & rdquo;.

Step 5: After returning to the exclude folder interface, click on the bottom “Save Changes><<>

Of course, the most direct way is to remove the folder to be excluded. However, the above method allows you to maintain the original folder layout. Everyone chooses as needed.
