How to switch Win10 right-click menu appearance style Win10 right-click menu appearance style switching tutorial

In the first major update of Win10, Microsoft improved the right-click menu style, the appearance is more matching with Windows10, and the height and width of menu items are increased. This is very practical in touch screen devices, but it does not make much sense in traditional mouse and keyboard operations. When there are many menu items, the right click menu will be displayed too long.

In fact, Microsoft has retained the function of switching the right-click menu style in Win10, which can be switched between the current and traditional sizes, but the registry needs to be modified. For details, please refer to the following method:

Note: Due to the need to modify the registry, it is recommended to create a restore point for your system according to "Win10 How to Create Restore Points and System Restore Complete Raiders" before operation. Restore when an error occurs.

1, press Win+R to open the run, enter regedit and press Enter to open the registry editor.

2, expand the following location:

HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\\SOFTWARE\\Microsoft\\Windows\\CurrentVersion\\FlightedFeatures

3, create a new DWORD named ImmersiveContextMenu on the right side (32 bit) value.

4. Double-click ImmersiveContextMenu and change its value to 0.

5. Restart the resource manager or log out and log in again to take effect. Restart the resource manager method:

Find "Windows Explorer" in the task manager, right click and select "Restart". If you have Rubik's Cube installed, you can quickly restart the Explorer in the shortcut command on the main interface, as shown below:

The size of the right-click menu in the desktop environment, including the width after the above modifications are completed. And height, it will become smaller. As shown below:
