Win7 adjust disk partition size tutorial

Adjusting the partition instance
Task environment:
Assume that the user has a 36GB disk in the Windows 7 system, there are 3 partitions on it, one is the 100MB reserved partition E disk, and the second is the system partition C disk 15.01GB The third is the data partition F disk 20.89GB.
Task target:
Because this system is a Windows7 system, the C drive has only 15.01GB of capacity, which is a bit small, so I want to adjust the size of the system partition C drive from 15GB to 20GB.
Operation principle:
Since the F disk has extra space, it is possible to divide some space from the F disk to the C disk. That is, compress the F drive to 15.90GB and expand the C drive to 20GB.
Operation Steps
Note:
Before partitioning, for some important data, you can use free backup software: easy backup to backup, it supports backup system, disk, partition, file, scheduled backup, etc. Wait.
1, download the free partition assistant, and install it to the computer, then start it, you will see the main interface below, you can also see that the C partition is 15.01GB, the F partition is 20.89GB, as shown in Figure 1. Shown.

2, now to reduce (ie compress) F disk to 15.90GB, right click on the F disk in the pop-up menu, select the "adjust /move partition" option, then you will see the figure In the window shown in 2, drag the left handle to the right to reduce the F-disk 15.90GB.

3. After clicking the confirmation in Figure 2, you will return to the main interface. At the same time, you will see an unallocated space of 4.99GB behind the C drive, as shown in Figure 3.

4. Right-click on the C drive and select ““Adjust/Move Partition” in the pop-up menu as shown in Figure 4.

5, then a pop-up window will appear, drag the right handle to the right until the C drive is adjusted to 20GB, as shown in Figure 5.

6. After clicking OK, return to the main interface. Look at the list box, then the size of the C drive is 20GB, and the size of the F drive is adjusted to 15.90GB. In the left side of the main interface, "Wait for Execution", you can see that there are two operations that need to be performed: one is to adjust and move the (F:) partition, and the other is to adjust the size of the (C:) partition. As shown in Figure 6 below.

7. On the toolbar of Figure 6, there is a “Submit” button, click on it, and then you will see the dialog box in Figure 7 below. You will click the "execute" button to apply these two operations to the real disk.

8. After clicking and executing, the partition assistant may prompt you to restart the computer to perform these operations in the restart mode (PreOS Mode), then click “ is ” to execute in the restart mode, but restart The mode is the English interface. Figure 8 below shows the execution status of the partition assistant in the restart mode:

After the restart is completed, the size of the C drive has been adjusted to 20GB. Not all operations need to be performed in restart mode, only for individual operations. Partition Assistant's ability to resize partitions is flexible, and its other features such as copying disks, copying partitions, and more can help you manage your disks in your computer more easily.
