How to release the C drive safely delete the hibernation file

With the advent of the Win 7 system, most users have changed the system to Win 7, but many friends have found a problem when using. When the computer was just bought back, we often reserved a space of 50G for the C disk (system disk), and everything was never loaded into the C disk. After a while, it was found that the C disk actually became too small. There are only 10 G left. Think about it, I didn't have anything to install, C drive didn't take up 40G, and there is still momentum to continue to expand, depressed! Next, Xiaobian tells everyone how to clean up the C drive space.
Method 1: Delete the hiberfil file. hiberfil.sys

The file is hidden in the root directory of the C drive. The hidden hiberfil.sys file size is exactly the same as its own physical memory. When you put the computer into hibernation, Windows 7 writes all memory contents to the hiberfil.sys file before shutting down the system. Then, when you turn the computer back on, the operating system uses hiberfil.sys to put all the information back into memory and the computer is restored to the state it was in before the shutdown. Windows 7 does not delete this file, but keeps it on the hard disk, which will take up a portion of the disk space in vain. After a long time, your hard disk can't be eaten.
Windows7 safely delete the hibernation file: Run cmd.exe as the administrator to open the command line window, then enter: powercfg -h off, press Enter.
Tips: Hiberfil.sys hidden files in the C drive can be unhidden and deleted directly. There is a space in front of -h off.
Method 2: Clear the temporary files generated by the application

These files are generally saved in the windowstemp folder and in the temp folder of the user folder. (The path is: my computer - C drive - windowstemp folder).
Clean up method: directly delete the files in the user name AppDataLocalTemp folder of c:windowstemp and C:Users.
Method 3: Clear temporary files generated by browsers such as IE
Clean up method: Open browser, tool — INTERNET option —— Browse history Click Delete, delete cookie and IE temporary file, In particular, it is best to delete the clean before the backup system.

Method 4: Clear System Restore, System Volume Information folder
SystemVolume Information folder, Chinese name can be translated into & ldquo; system volume label information & rdquo;. This folder stores the backup information of the system restore. "System Restore" is one of the most useful functions of the Windows operating system. It uses the "snapshot" method to record the status information of the system at a specific time, which is called "restore point", and then in need Restore it based on this information. There are two types of restore points: one is automatically created by the system, including system checkpoints and installation restore points; the other is created by the user himself or herself, also called manual restore point. As the user's use of the system time increases, the number of restore points will increase, resulting in less and less hard disk space, and finally be warned "Insufficient disk space”. It is also the most easily occupied file in the system disk. For a long time, this file can be up to 4G or even larger.
Clearing method: directly close the system restore! Right click on <; computer & rdquo; & mdash; & mdash; attribute & mdash; & mdash; advanced system settings & mdash; & mdash; system protection & mdash; & mdash; click C drive & mdash; & mdash; configuration & mdash ;— Restore settings in the following three options directly select the last “ close system protection & &quo; & mdash; & mdash; delete & mdash; & mdash; continue & mdash; & mdash; OK.
Finally, we can optimize it with optimization software such as 360 software. At this time, we will make a lot of space in watching C disk.
Postscript:
When installing new software, users must pay attention to the installation path. It is best not to default to C drive, even if there is only a little something.
